I was thrilled to be back to capture baby number two. When I was looking at the family’s new addition, Abby through my lense, I saw so much resemblance to her brother and recalled a flashback of his newborn session three years ago. For the first little while, he was observing how I was working and then he got to work. He started helping me by fixing his mom’s hair and glasses and making sure that she looked great. While her big brother was working hard, Abby was sleeping peacefully throughou...

I had this little handsome tiny pea at my studio a few days ago. Every time I pointed my camera to capture a shot, Shion shared some cute expressions. He is only two weeks old and it was pretty rare that he was wide awake, but very calm and relaxed during the session. It was great to have Shion's Grandma to join our session and she also made a great helper! By the way, I love the name, Shion. That was a name we considered for our son but we already had a similar name in our house. ; )...

I just wanted to feature our recent newborn session at my home studio with this adorable little pea. He was 3 weeks old when he came to our studio for his session. After a baby passes the two week milestone, their sleeping cycle can change drastically.  While it can create more opportunities, a babies tend to be more active and alert at this time giving the session a different feel . No need to stress if you are reading this blog and just happened to book your session later than you hoped to...

It was great kicking off my week looking through adorable baby Ashton's images. His cuteness melted my heart and I couldn't stop smiling throughout the shoot. Life is so hectic but once a while I realize how fortunate I am to be doing something I enjoy and this session was one of those times. Thank you to all my clients for letting me capture the special moments in your life!!!

I had a photo shoot with this lovely family last fall and was just thinking about how they were doing, when I found out that they were expecting baby number two! When my clients ask me to capture their special moments year after year, I feel honored to be the family photographer who is able to be part of their exciting journey.

When I arrived at their place for the photo shoot this weekend, I noticed how well they decorated their living room with lots of family photos from previous sessions....

I have been very fortunate to capture this family's precious moments since their first pregnancy and am back for a newborn session of baby number three, beautiful baby Zoey. This photo shoot felt very personal and made me a bit emotional, witnessing this wonderful family's growth. It was easy to tell how much Zoey's big brothers already adore their baby sister. Here is a sneak peek.

Welcoming another baby! I couldn't stop smiling when I was capturing this little peanut. He was so adorable and so was his big sister. She was excited to be in the photo and wanted to stay close to her little brother during the session. Having an addition to the family often can be a huge change for the sibling and sometimes it is not easy for them to understand a newborn session. With this session it wasn't the case. I was able to capture lots of great images of the two of them together. I...

When I got to my client's house for this newborn photo session, the big sister who greeted me at the door in her favorite dress was just a tiny pea when I saw her last.  It felt like I just had her newborn shoot not that long ago. It was great to recall how different these two children were at their first shoot with me. I don't think the big sister opened her eyes even once during her newborn shoot. On the other hand her new little sis Robin was an active little one. Mom mentioned that she w...

Meet this little cutie pie, Theo! It was another hot summer day here in Calgary, but it seemed that Theo didn't mind the heat at all. I usually warm up the room for newborn babies so that they will be nice and comfortable, but there was no need to do so for this warm weather photo shoot. I can't get over how cute Theo was staring at his mom and just enjoying a cuddle. Here are some of my favourite images from the session. Enjoy!

I had a wonderful opportunity to capture an adorable baby this week. Just one word best sums up this little one, a sleeping beauty! While I was capturing these precious moments of her life, she was relaxed and dreaming pretty much during the whole session. I don't have to explain how happy her parents are welcoming this sweet pea, just look at their expressions! Here is a sneak peek.
